Victory Church's 2005 Community Festival and Auction

EMERGE Member Morgan Dobbs wanted to pass along some information about the upcoming Victory Church's 2005 Community Festival and Auction on Saturday, October 1, 2005. The event starts at 7 a.m. with the yard sale, the auction starts at 9 a.m.

In the last 2 festivals Victory Church has raised over $500,000, with ALL net proceeds going back into community charity organizations. The organizations benefiting this year are:

A.L.S. Association of Florida
American Red Cross of Polk County
Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Lakeland
First Tee
Florida Baptist Children's Home
Freedom Center of Lakeland
Lighthouse Ministries
Outreach Center of Polk County
Parker Street Ministries
Salvation Army
Talbot House Ministries
Teen Challenge of Lakeland
VISTE (Volunteers in Service to the Elderly)
Watson Clinic Cancer Center

Members of Emerge can help out in several ways:

1. Give money towards the event as an individual or through their place of employment.
2. Donate items of a $200 value for the auction and silent auction
3. Simply come to the festival on October 1st from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
