The Summit is designed to bring together business leaders in our community to better understand the challenges facing Polk County regarding WORKFORCE housing and work together toward a solution.

In 1999, the median sales price for a house was $78,600. Today it is $179,300. The enormous increase in the cost of housing is having a significant negative impact on the ability of our employees to buy homes.
