Florida Southern College - Job Opening

Major Gifts Officer

Florida Southern College is seeking a successful major gifts fundraiser who will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift donors and prospects as the College moves into a comprehensive campaign. Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, the Major Gifts Officer will prepare proposals and solicit donors for a variety of campaign gifts as well as assist with planning the overall development strategy for the major gifts campaign.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of proven fundraising experience, including the planning, strategizing, and soliciting of major gifts. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, highly developed planning and organizational skills, keen critical thinking skills, and ability to travel. Bachelor's degree required.
