VISTE Food Drive - November 18, 2008
Dear EMERGE Members,
VISTE (Volunteers In Service To the Elderly) needs our help and generosity for the upcoming holidays. Fellow EMERGE members, Tom Stull and Cindy Green of Furr & Wegman Architects, P.A., will be collecting your donated canned foods at EMERGE events through December. EMERGE appreciates any amount you can bring to provide for those less fortunate and to help this worthy organization. If you are unable to attend any events but wish to donate canned foods, please contact Tom Stull at Furr & Wegman Architects at tstull@furrandwegman.com to make arrangements.
There are several more opportunities for EMERGE members to help in
coming weeks. Donations of non-perishable food items can be made any
time at VISTE's headquarters located at 1232 E. Magnolia St. in Lakeland. Folks planning to help with this year's Thanksgiving Meal Delivery are also urged to bring a canned good with them to the Lakeland Center on Wednesday November 26th. Volunteers will also be on hand at the Lakeland Christmas Parade December 4th to collect canned food items from people attending the parade. For more info: Alice O'Reilly (863.683.8458)
