The Watson Clinic Foundation and Arts in Medicine need your help.

When: April 3, 2009
Where: Downtown Lakeland First Friday event (Kentucky Avenue from Main Street to Lemon)

What: The Watson Clinic Foundation hosts a program called Arts in Medicine. This program is housed in the Center for Cancer Care & Research and is a tremendous outreach to patients and their families as they undergo treatments in their battle against this dreaded disease. The program has many forms: craft projects, music therapy, painting programs and bead projects, to name just a few. They will be showcasing their art at the Downtown Lakeland First Friday Event on April 3rd and they are looking for volunteers to help man creative areas for approximately 4 hours.
