ASC Geosciences Employment Opportunity

Administrative Assistant to Business Development Office
ASC geosciences, inc.

This position provides high-level administrative support to the Director of Business Development & Marketing, as well as other management staff as needed with minimal supervision. This position requires a candidate with extensive editing, computer, and customer service skills as well as attention to detail, problem solving skills, fast/focused under pressure, and professionalism dealing with diverse communication styles and people. Some weekend and evening hours required as needed. Pay ranges $12.00/hr to $15.00/hr. Company benefits are provided after 90 days.

Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with scheduling a challenging and ever changing array of appointments, meetings, and travel as needed; Assist with the preparation of routine and non-routine reports and proposals for prospective and existing clients; Coordinate travel arrangements as needed; Manage and organize off-site and on-site meetings/seminars; Prioritize day-to-day projects/commitments; Day-to-day appointment management, data entry, marketing coordination/development support, preparation of correspondence/email and newsletters/brochures/handouts and press releases, answer phones, filing, maintain archives of press releases/photos/promotional materials/forms/business cards/samples/etc., make copies, send/receive faxes, mailings, marketing database updates, surveys, direct business inquiries to appropriate staff, database maintenance, assistance with special events/conference/tradeshow exhibit coordination, update corporate Statement of Qualifications.

Qualifications: High school diploma, college education preferred. Position requires ability to manage multiple priorities, close attention to detail; and strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as customer service skills. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe (varied), varied database programs, graphic design, internet research, and typing skills. Must be self-motivated with superior organizational skills. Ability to follow established, detailed procedures is at times required. Position also requires discretion and confidentiality. Some travel required.
