Stuff the Bus 2009 - July 24, 2009

Lakeland

August 19

With Polk County facing it highest unemployment numbers in years and with School Board cuts affecting all aspects of our education system the need for programs like Stuff the Bus will mean so much more to so many.

Stuff the Bus has been recognized by the Polk County School Board as one of the best back to school campaigns in the county. Stuff the Bus around the county reaches almost 50 public elementary schools. All the supplies are collected and delivered to the public elementary schools where the teachers and administrators distribute them.

Please give consideration to being part to Lakeland’s hottest summer event. A financial investment or product donation will help bring a little bit of sunshine into the lives of so many who are doing without.

Checks should be made out to Lakeland Kiwanis, memo Stuff the Bus or just Stuff the Bus and mailed to 1829 E. Edgewood Dr. Lakeland, Fl 33803. Product donations can be delivered to The NCT Group CPA’s, L.L.P., 811 E. Main Street. We can also provide your workplace or organization with a collection box.

On behalf of all you do for this community thanks in advance for your generosity.

To get involved call 686-5900.

The City of Lakeland is pleased to announce that the Independence Celebration Red, White & Kaboom that takes place at Lake Mirror on July 3rd is back on schedule due to the recently acquired sponsorship from T. Mims Corp./Buyer’s Rep. Inc. who is dedicated as the title sponsor of the event.
