Volunteers needed to assist Americans that are coming back from Haiti
Volunteers to assist in Sanford Orlando to assist with Haiti
14 volunteers are needed to assist in the Repatriate Program (program assisting Americans that are coming back from Haiti). These volunteers will be stationed at the Stanford airport to immediately help all those arriving from Haiti in Orlando. They will be assessing their needs and offering services including forms for temporary assistance and cash, translators, behavioral health support, food, lodging and child care. The volunteers would be assisting and connecting the people arriving with whatever their needs are.
There are 2 shifts: day shift is from 9am to 8 pm and night shift is from 7pm to 9am.
They are in need of volunteers for the night shift for Thursday and Sunday of this week and everyday for next week. If you are interested, please send your contact information to Mike Krause with DCF. He is scheduling people.
