“A Night of Chemistry” Bachelor & Date Package Auction - October 27, 2010

“A Night of Chemistry” Bachelor & Date Package Auction, a benefit for the United Way of Central Florida will be held at Lake Region Yacht & Country Club on Saturday, November 20th, 2010, dinner being served at 6:30 p.m. and the auction beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for "A Night of Chemistry" are available for advanced sales and are $35 per person. We will also be hosting a “Study Session” the evening before the event (Friday, November 19th, 2010), also at Lake Region Yacht & Country Club, in order to allow guests to mingle with the bachelors prior to auction night. Tickets for the "Study Session" are $10 per person and

USF Tampa to host a panel discussion on "How To Be A Leader In Tampa’s Next Growth Cycle" - October 15, 2010

On Sunday, 10/24, USF Tampa will host a panel discussion entitled: How To Be A Leader In Tampa’s Next Growth Cycle. The event is from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the USF Marshall Center. The discussion will be broadcast on a CNN channel and on the web so you must sign a release to attend the discussion. Camp Fire USA's 2010 Haunted House - October 14, 2010

Come out for a "terrifying" good time... Enjoy wine & cheese as you take a "hauntingly" fun behind-the-scenes tour of Buckingham Terror, Camp Fire USA's 2010 Haunted House. The haunted house was designed and built completely by the kids at Camp Fire with the help of many community volunteers.

This is a free event for Emerge Members. Thursday, October 21 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Camp Fire Center located at 2600 Buckingham Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33803 (behind Common Ground Park).

We hope you can come out and support Camp Fire USA, which has for the past 100 years developed leaders in our community.

Jim Ryun Invitational - October 8, 2010

The Jim Ryun Invitational 5K will be held in Lakeland on October 23rd. Register at Fitniche or online at raceit.com. All participants receive Adidas Climalite shirts and awards for the 5 year age groups are replicas of Jim Ryun’s 1968 Olympic Medal.

Young Professional Summit - October 6, 2010

EMERGE Lakeland has been invite by a sister organization, “Emerge Tampa Bay” to attend an exclusive, “Young Professional Summit”.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with state leadership and local representatives. Share your opinion with these decision makers. The summit will be held Friday, October 29, 11:30am – 5:00pm at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, Tampa. A reception will follow the event.

The first 5 EMERGE Lakeland members to RSVP will have their registration fee paid.
